[/ul]Full History:
Brianna has had a tragic and painful history. Which began with her parents. Her parents had been riders, first of all friends who had been studying at the same time, but after several life or death situations this friendship developed into something more. Relationships of this kind were rare and any that had happened were discouraged, but this relationship was kept a secret. For several years there was no problem, but one horrible day everything changed, Ishanya realized she was pregnant, she went into seclusion trying to hide the fact that she was pregnant but it soon became obvious. The older riders were outraged when they heard of it, and Brianna was given to her aunt by her father when she was born, to hide her from the other riders. Not long afterwards both her parents died during a mission deep in the spine.
Brianna's childhood was not a happy one. She grew up in Ilirea with a very poor backround, since to her aunt she was just another mouth to feed. She spent her early years on the streets earning money any way she could. Her aunt was a very good seamstress, but was stuck deep in debt, so there was little money for anything. When Bri was around six she was delivering an order to a customer when an interesting situation happened.
"Bri stood with a small scrap of parchment in her hand as she checked that the adress was right. She knocked on the heavy oak door then stepped back and looked down at the ground. The door was answered by a tall pretty lady in an elegant blue dress.
"What do you want child?"
"I've come to make a delivery from seamstress Hawkins."
Her voice squeaked with barely supressed fear. Most people would take the delivery then send her away, calling her all sorts of names, the most common being street curr. Instead the lady just raised her eyebrow, smiled, and invited her in. Bri had never seen such a beautiful home with oak paneled walls and carpet covering the floor. She was directed into the study where she stood shivering and holding the very wrinkled piece of parchment.
The man sitting at the desk looked up and ran a critical eye over her. Before he could say anything she opene dher mouth and blurted out:
"Are you Mr. Gerrum of 235 Ivory street?"
He looked at her surprised and spotted the small parchment in her hands.
"Can you read child?"
"Y-yes..."
"How old are you?"
He said incredulous.
"I'm s-six"
The man stared at her inshocked silence. It had taken him years to master reading, and here sat a child who could read!
"Yes child I am Mr. Gerrum."
Bri dropped her bundle on the desk than ran out of the house and home."
After that the man had come to her aunt's shop and asked to speak about the young girl who could read. She ended up being employed and helping the man, who was a scribe with his work and running errands for him. All money she won was taken by her aunt to help pay for all expenses. Over the years she developed her reading and writing skills far beyond her age. But she was still ridiculed by customers and other children her age. She grew to resent the company of other people and hid herself away from society.
It was when she was twelve that the riders visited Ilirea and asked for all children above the age of 10 gather in a square so as to touch the new dragon egg. Bri, along with many other children, lined up and awaited their turn to touch the egg. When the time came and she touched it, the white egg started to rock crazily and hatched in front of a very perplexed Bri.Of course she reached forward and touched the hatchling. Burning fire and icy cold created the circular marking on her palm. The riders took her back to Vroengard where she began her training as a rider.
She arrived at Vroengard and was presented to the leader of the riders that her true identity was discovered. Brianna began to foster a hatred deep in her heart against her so-called "mother" that had raised her without even telling her of her past. It was around that time that Valhalla became old enough to choose her name and began to be a comfort to Bri in all ways she could. Inicially some riders scorned her, but as she proved her worth by learning faster and training harder than some of her peers they began to take her for who SHE was. Not for who her parents were and what they had done.
When she was later on in her teenage years that a flying accident occured where she fell off Valhalla's back into the ocean and almost drowned, but was able to save herself, discovering magic in the process. She has trained and studied for many years and is very close to becoming a full-fledged rider, since this is the case she can already go on missions provided another rider is present as well.Valhalla:
Color: White
Eye Color: Much like crystal they change hue depending on the frequency of light they reflect.
Personality: This dragon is like all females, ferocious and snappy to enemies in battle and difficult to tame. But Valhalla has also shared her riders feelings, has known through her the pain experienced as a child, and in the early years of training was very protective. She stood by her rider's side even in her mistakes and failures, though some she might have prevented. Lately they have grown closer as Brianna has matured into a beautiful adult and a wiser one. Valhalla still is protective, but she knows that Bri can take care of herself. Valhalla loves flying high above the land and surveying it as if it were her domain even though she knows it is not. She also likes the times of dawn and dusk as she revels in the different hues that take her ordinary white hide and turn it into a sparkling rainbow of color. Valhalla is also somewhat prideful and vain, and takes to making sure she is impecable. She is also a female which means she cannot help but watch male dragons and wonder when she will have her own mate...
Name: On most of my other sites I am called Dreamer,
Age: 16
Experience: Six months, I’m still not very experienced but I am trying hard to make that not the case, so please give me a break….

(Alright then, another part of Bri's past)
Wind whistled in her ears as Valhalla twisted through the air, catching an updraft and sending them both high up above the clouds. Brianna breathed as deeply as she could, since the air was thin this high up, and then Valhall pulled her wings towards her body and dived down through the fluffy white. Moisture collected on Bri's face and streamed backwards off of Valhalla's scales, then they were out of the clouds. Not very far below stood the sea and Brianna realized that the clouds were low today. That was all she had time to think before a warning came from Valhalla.
Watch out Brianna!
A brown dragon shot out of the clouds they had been in just a second before and sped towards them. Bri drew her white sword and kept it at the ready. The brown dragon, who was many times bigger than Valhalla, hung suspended in the sky before the young rider and dragon, it wings flapping ominously. The voice of her teacher entered Bri's mind.
"Now child, you must be ready for any attack, and so should your dragon."
The brown dragon snorted and small puff sof flame came out, Valhalla roared defiantly back.
Bri we should attack before they do!
How do we do that? We have no advantage!
We do the unexpected.
Valhalla folded her wigs and free-fell towards the ocean. Bri could vaguely feel confusion from their teachers before they did so as well. With the ocean getting closer by the secong Valhalla still didn't pull up, and then all in one moment she snapped er wings open and caught arising thermal. The jerk from the sudden rise made Bri lose her grip on Valhalla and plunge into the salt-water.
Icy cold fingers of dread gripped her heart as she sank deeper. She thrashed and was able to make it to the surface gasping and coughing before sliding below again. She had never learned how to swim, why would she need to? She lived miles from any water anyways! Fear and a need for self preservation filled her and she was able to call out one word.
Risa!
She shot up from the water and Valhalla caught her in one clawed foot, then she sank into the inky blackness of unconsciousness...
