OUT OF CHARACTER

0.1 Be Respectful of EVERYONE: If you have a problem with anyone, please go to staff and don’t confront them. That is why the staff is here. Simply ignore them and move on with what you are doing.

0.2 PG-13: PB rules say that we must keep this rating, if this rule is broken, you, and by extension the entire site, has a risk of being banned. Please save us all the trouble and don’t do it.

0.3 Confidential Materials: We don’t need to know your actual name, where you live, or anything else like that. Your parents have probably said it a thousand times and I’m going to say it again: keep it to yourself. Niether I nor my staff can be held responsible if you chose to freely hand out your information and some creepy guy finds you.

0.4 Graphics: This includes avatars, signatures etc.

Signatures may not exceed 500 pixels by 300 pixels
Avatars may not exceed 100 pixels by 200 pixels
Graphics may not exceed a 500 pixel width

The staff will remove any graphic that stretch the page or are bigger than the above rules, no exceptions.

0.5 Chat-speak: The usual things like ‘brb’ and ‘lol’ are fine. If u strt tlkin like dis people have every right to ignore everything you say.

CHAT BOX

1.1 Bullying: THIS WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE TOLERATED. If you are caught doing this your account WILL be deleted and you will be banned. No exceptions. The playful comments are noticeable and we have no problem with that, but it is obvious when you are bullying.

1.2 Chat-speak: Again the usual things will be accepted, however, if you make it a habit of talking in ‘chat-speak’ you will likely be temporarily banned from the C-Box. No one wants to try to constantly figure out what you are saying, especially when there are those of us who can’t text and don’t know what half of that means.

IN CHARACTER

2.1 God-modding, Bunnying, Power-playing: We don’t have god characters, and even gods aren’t perfect: no perfect characters. No controlling someone else’s character. No making another character look weak. If you are a human against a shade, you should be intimidated, not mildly annoyed.

2.1.1Mindbreaking: This will be the ONLY exception to the power-playing rule, as mind breakers can control other characters. HOWEVER....this is a matter of willpower, and must be extremely evident that one character has broken into the others mind.

2.2 Post Length: As this is a literate site, posts are expected to be at least 250 words. It isn’t that hard to do, but we do understand the occasional off-day where you can’t really write much and someone is hounding you to post. One line posts are never accepted though.

2.3 Literacy: Again, this is a literate site, so spell check is your friend. Do not post any IC post with chat-speak as it will be deleted on sight. If you are a grammar follower, be my guest and follow it. I am not going to go through with a fine tooth comb and make sure it is perfect.

2.4 Sex: Chill out, it happens…..but we don’t want, or need to know the details. Just fade out before it happens and came back after it’s over. Writing out an entire sex scene is in violation of the PG-13 rule.

2.5 Double-posting: Do not post twice in a row, let someone else post before you post again. It looks better and gives you something to write to and makes things more interesting.

2.6 Keep your Order: If you are threading with a group, try to come up with a post order. Keep to that order and do not skip anyone unless they tell you to.
